Christmas Goodies

Well as quick as Christmas came it is gone!

The decorations are coming down today. I usually like to leave them up and have even used the Epiphany as an excuse, but this year as quick as Christmas left, I started feeling like I was ready for spring cleaning. Well spring is not in sight anytime soon, but the cleaning must start and new beginnings are in order.

What?? I never even posted all of the Christmas goodness. So here is a summary of the fun Christmas treats we made. I needed to have some gifts for my husbands co-workers this year and with 10 gifts for mostly men….food came to mind!

First we started baking some cookies.

Peanut Butter Blossoms are super easy.

Then we began chocolate dipping.

Chocolate covered pretzel rods all prettied up!

Then we decided to tackle some different, yet still simple. After blog cruising, I found a great idea over at Petit Elefant for Peppermint Marshmallow Hot Chocolate! Here is our version, but check out her link above for the how to step by step.

And yes, the Marshmallow Monster helped with this fun treat.

Then it was time to put all of the sweetness into a pretty package.

I just loved these cute little treat boxes that Natasha at Inking Out of the Box made. Be sure to check out this link for the how to step-by-step instructions to get one of these cuties for yourself. These are so easy to make!

Here is my version!

Then I made tags. For a quick and simple tag I used some business card templates on the computer and made these cute little rectangular tags.

First print what you want on the front and then feed it through the printer again with what you want on the back.

Oh and make it easy on yourself and save the template for next year. Make a few adjustments, but have you To: and From: all ready to go with your recipients' names.

Card Front

Add a cute little die cut to the front and punch a hole.

Card Back

A little cellophane wrap to group all the little goodies together and Voila!

Packaged Treats

Pretty packages all tied up in bows.

I hope that everyone had a great holiday season and that you are looking forward to a healthy and happy 2011!
